Something for VA's

Postby Thomas Emms (500926) on Sun Nov 22, 2009 1:42 pm

Hi guys,

didnt know where else to post this but,

Is there a way that on Pulse Air's website we can intergrate the online pilots from VSN on the live map? http://members.pulseair.co.uk/index.php/acars

It already is used with Xacars and Vatsim can be compatible with it?

Cheers,
Thomas.

Oh and our CMS is phpVMS.

If you place your 3 letter callsign ident after the quoted text below, it will display a list of online pilots.

Kacars is a nice simple program. My VA uses it. You do need FSUIPC.
The client installs it and simply logs into the acars system via Kacars. I also use phpvms and that is a 'add one file to the server'.
I had looked at various acars systems and clients, and I found phpvms and Kacars to be the simplest for everyone to use.
Hope it helps. Get in touch if you have problems.

Just to add my "two penny worth",
KACARS is so simple, even i can use it.....now if that aint saying something, nothing will......LMAO

TBH, as Richard has already said, any issues get in touch, we have it at "Caledonian" ( http://www.vcal.org.uk ) and its not failed me (Personaly) once in over 100hrs online, works alongside FSinn and TS with no problems, so reliablity is no issue....nuf said! ;)

Yes, Kacars is a good program But the thing I wanted was for the live map to display Pilots out of my Virtual-Airline who didnt fly with an ACARS program but who were flying on VSN to show up :)

Anyways, Thanks guys :)

Do you have any knowledge of PHP? If so I could tell you a way to make our FSD Live Map (downloadable) display your pilots only.
